043 UNION PACIFIC STREAMLINERS & CLASSIC STEAM

Covers early streamliners 1934-1940, Classic steam power in the 1930's & 1950's with 1950's scenes around the Council Bluffs-Omaha area and 1990's action of 4-8-4 844 and Challenger 3985. 844 is seen at St Louis in 1990, on ex-D&RGW Tennessee Pass line and other locations on UP.

3985 is covered on CSX and ex-Clinchfield (lettered CRR 676 on CRR segment) and on other locations on U.P.

A bonus is the 1939 premier parade for the movie "Union Pacific". The very rare steam turbines are in this segment.

Steam power includes 4-6-2's, 4-8-2's, 4-8-4's,4-12-2, 2-8-0, 2-8-2's, 2-10-2, and a couple of Challengers plus the two steam turbines.

Other power includes FM, Alco, Baldwin diesel switchers, GP7, and one Gas Turbine.
